We had the good fortune of connecting with Mollie C Creason and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mollie C, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I think like most entrepreneurs I saw a hole in the market. And in terms of my hole, it was the ability to learn about and collect art without feeling intimidated. Art galleries can be intimidating and I wanted to create a space for new (and established) collectors to learn about art collecting, learn about the artists, as well as purchase the artwork directly from our virtual platform.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well + Wonder curates an online collection of original art by emerging southern artists at price points for collectors at all levels – those new to art buying as well as established collectors. We also are solely a platform for female artists based in the south. We are passionate about sharing work by female artists, supporting female artists, and helping to connect them with women across the southeastern United States.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For shopping – Abbey Glass! And all the beautiful shops around the Shops at Buckhead. For art – The High Museum
The Daily Pilates/Stellar Bodies (Lagree for that true burn)
Revolution Doughnuts
Little Rey for casual tacos and margs
The Imaginarium – a bar/brewery with great vibes
The Chastain – walk around the park and stop for all day cafe, drinks, lunch, dinner
St. Julep at the new Kimpton Slyvan Hotel for a rooftop bar

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Gosh so many shout outs to give but I’d love to give this one to my business coach and mentor, Sean Low of the Business of Being Creative. Sean taught this non-business major/major creative how to grow a business as a one-woman show.
