We had the good fortune of connecting with Miss Storm and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Miss, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
I am a Mother of 4 Amazing Children and I believe in Leading by example. Being an African American Female Entrepreneur is very important for my children to witness 1st hand, not only to ensure that they are equipped with all of the necessary tools to start their own businesses but more importantly to ensure them that they have options that I didn’t have growing up.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Growing up as a child I had two things that I was Passionate about. “Family and Music” My 1st goal was to become a “Psychologist” My 2nd goal was to become a “Famous Entertainer” I love to sing and I love to help people (I am still the person everyone calls for advice.) I grew up surrounded by “Strong Old Souls”, I listened to them I watched them and I studied them. Unaware that I was an empath I felt their love and I felt their pain. When the time came to pursue my career goals I ultimately decided to merge the two. For the first 20 years of my life I focused soley on my music career. I’ve toured around the world singing I’ve written songs for Top 40 Artist I’ve had music placed in films I’ve actually worked on set with Tyler Perry on two of his projects. In 2010 I began to merge my passion for music with my compassion for people. And now in 2020 I am the Founder of : “The Moving Mountains Foundation Of Motivational Speakers” The C.E.O Of: Earkandi Productions And The Creator Of: The B.H.M Cyphers ✊🏽 The common factor with all of my Organizations is: We encourage people to use their voice to help others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my Bestie to “Spondivits” 1st because she is a Pescatarian 2nd because it’s one of my favorite places to eat in Metro Atlanta. Then we would explore The Shoppes At Atlantic Station for shop therapy of course. And probably end the night at either “The Trap Museum” or Escobar Lounge for Photo Opps and good drinks.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to “Shout Out” my two Strong Beautiful Grandmother’s Dolly Morgan and Estelle Johnson. Thankful for having their Wisdom to guide me through life’s obstacles. I would also like to Shout Out My Brilliant Business Partner and Friend April “A Dee” Dillard for supporting me emotionally spiritually and creatively for over a decade of Highs and Lows during the process of becoming an Entrepreneur.
