We had the good fortune of connecting with Mischa Morris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mischa, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m from a small town named Abbeville, which is located in Alabama. I actually have always been big on being something they now call the “IT” girl. With my hometown being so under populated, it was hard for me to express my passion the way I wanted to. People would always tell me I was bigger than the country life and I should really go show my talents in a big city. And this is where I am now, Atlanta Georgia doing what I love. Fashion, Influencing, etc!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I don’t want people to know me just as a social media influencer. I have a regular job as well, lol. I’m a regular person, the only difference with me is that I had a desire to show off my fashion skills and that’s what I had my mind set on to do, and I did it. I dressed up every day and one day went viral. Companies begin to email, and write me constantly and it took off from then. After me getting that publicity I needed, I was also able to start a hair business called MeechMink. I am more than amazed at how fast and simple things worked out for me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlanta has so many fun places that you can’t just name one particular place. Me, I make any where and any place fun. Ask any of my friends, I’m literally the life of the party! If you don’t enjoy yourself out with me, then the problem was YOU! Lol.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I honestly want to thank everyone who believed in me even when I didn’t. There are so many to name so as a whole, I thank you all!
