We had the good fortune of connecting with Miles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Miles, what role has risk played in your life or career?
For me, risk taking is the releasing of fear, doubt, and failure, and choosing to proceed with faith, optimism, and fearlessness. Is it easier said than done? Absolutely. But I (we) must make a conscious effort to push through those obstacles that we allow to hold us back from going after what we want in life and realize that you don’t have to know everything to move forward with the things you do know. I had to learn to get out of my own way and still have to remind myself of that at times.

In addition to my passion and love for music and songwriting, style and fashion has always been in the forefront. I’ve always considered myself to be a unique and forward thinking individual when it comes to that.

When I launched my very own apparel line CREATASPARK in July 2021 it was a surreal moment. I cannot say I was even nervous about the launch, it was more liberating than anything. It was something that I had diligently been working on for some time.

My brand CREATASPARK embodies integrity, style, versatility, and originality for men and women or however you choose to identify. Many of our styles and sizing are unisex.

What should our readers know about your business?
One of my businesses is CREATASPARK apparel. We are an e-commerce apparel brand for men and women that includes a variety of t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts that ships anywhere within the U.S. at this time. (www.creataspark.com)

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I prefer to think outside the box when it comes to leisure activities and places to eat.

Without knowing what a person may be into it’s challenging to pin-point exactly on things to do or places to eat. 
 
I’m an outdoor person so being out in nature, being active, or in a tranquil environment is my kind of speed. With that being said, you can never go wrong with finding a park or a trail to walk, or ride bikes.
 
During the spring and summer time you can always catch a festival whether it be for music, wine, or food. 
As people’s interests in activities or places to eat can vary, I’d recommend starting with Groupon, YELP, or Eventbrite to see what may be going on during their visit or possible places to eat.


The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Shoutout is to those who have truly, genuinely, and authentically shown love, support, and encouragement my way in more ways than one and never once wavered. No need to name anyone specifically because those individuals know exactly who they are and what they mean to me and it is most definitely reciprocated.

I am grateful and very protective over my tribe and my village. We all hold each other down and accountable.

When I tell you that God removes, replaces, replenishes, and provides you with exactly who and what you need right when you need it most. This is why I never lost no sleep over anyone who went ghost.

I am thankful for awareness, discernment, and wisdom.
