We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michael, what’s your definition for success?
Success is a holistic concept that is not solely based on monetary wealth. More so, it is about the pursuit of personal fulfillment and the realization of our goals, passions, and purpose. Success is the freedom to create without limitations, and to channel our talents and creativity into meaningful endeavors that provide value and make a positive impact on society. Of course, each individual’s definition of success will vary depending on their personal circumstances and aspirations, however, at its core, success is about finding joy and purpose in what we do and using our unique gifts & talents to make a positive difference in the world & contribute to the greater good.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am so proud to be entering my third year as a successful business owner. The road here hasn’t been exactly easy, especially with having to learn to manage sales fluctuations throughout the seasons. I have gotten to where I am today by placing a major focus on customer satisfaction. Our aim is to treat each customer as a walking brand ambassador. I noticed early on that people’s whole mood would change after putting on a pair of our glasses & it’s great to see. Along the way I learned that you have to have a mastermind alliance-a team who all want to arrive at the same destination. No matter which brand I am affiliated with, the goal is to give love, provide value, & create opportunities.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are so many hidden gems around the city but in general, some good spots are Chateau Elan, Charlie Yates golf course, High Museum of Art, and Ponce City Market. It is always a mission of mine to give back to the community so any community service events or opportunities to put money back into local business at festivals or street markets are a go. I try to stay fit so we might hit the gym as well.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I give credit to my mother and close friends who have lent an open ear to listen to my ideas and offer feedback.
