We had the good fortune of connecting with Meshanda King and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Meshanda, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued a creative career because I’ve always been drawn to outlets of self-expression. For me, creating is more than making something beautiful; it’s an act of meditation and self-discovery that supports mental wellness and healing. Through DualityClique, I’ve found that making jewelry is a way to channel emotions, tell stories, and embrace the balance of life’s dualities—chaos and calm, and the seen and unseen.
What makes this journey especially fulfilling is the opportunity to build a community that values connection and intention. Making jewelry and curating other items for DualityClique isn’t just about accessories—it’s about offering tools for reflection and growth, sparking meaningful conversations, and celebrating individuality. I’ve witnessed how something as simple as a bracelet can inspire healing, empower confidence, or create a moment of peace in someone’s day.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
DualityClique was born from a deep passion for self-expression, but the journey has been anything but easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve faced moments of doubt, tough decisions, and figuring it all out as I go. What got me here was a mix of faith, creativity, and being willing to pivot when things didn’t go as planned. I leaned into my spiritual practices, stayed open to learning, and embraced the dualities of success and failure as part of the process.
The biggest lesson? Trust your vision, even when it feels like no one else sees it yet. Also, perfection is overrated — showing up authentically will always resonate more. I’ve learned that building something meaningful takes time, and it’s okay to celebrate the small wins along the way. Oh, and community is everything — the people who support you make the journey worth it.
DualityClique is here to remind people that their dualities are their strengths, and self-expression is a form of healing. Our pieces are curated with intention, creativity, and a lot of love, designed to help you tap into your own magic and proudly show the world who you are.

Shoutout to my spiritual foundation. It’s a compass that keeps me grounded while navigating the wild ride of entrepreneurship. Morning affirmations/prayer, meditation, journaling, or drinking tea with intention, spirituality looks different for everyone — and that’s the beauty of it. For me, it’s been a way to stay balanced, tap into my creativity, and make decisions that are in alignment.
Shoutout to my incredible partner — the real MVP behind the scenes! His constant encouragement, love, and support helps fuel my creative journey every day. Whether it’s hyping up a new design, helping with weekend popups, or just being the steady presence I can count on, he is my rock.
Last but not least, shout out to my loving family and friends, also the amazing groups that support my entrepreneurial journey Gurl 2 Girl & The Maximize Crew!
