Hi Maury Rossel, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My process behind starting my own business was deeply connected to my desire to create an authentic and genuine space to share what I love: photography and connecting with others. After emigrating, I faced uncertainty, but I saw an opportunity to reinvent myself and build something that would allow me to express myself freely and add value to those who follow me. Photography is not just a business; it’s a way of communicating emotions and moments, and that’s what I want to offer: an experience that goes beyond the image, an opportunity to connect and grow together.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is an extension of myself, a way to express my emotions, stories, and connections through photography. What sets me apart is my genuine and authentic approach, not only in the images but also in the experiences I create with my clients and followers. I’m excited to offer content that inspires, motivates, and, above all, reflects the beauty of everyday life.

While photography continues to be a fundamental part of my life, it no longer defines me entirely. Today, it serves a bigger purpose: my personal brand. Photography has become a powerful tool to tell stories, build connections, and express my values. What I do now goes beyond capturing images—it’s a way to show the world who I am and share a broader vision of what I stand for.

My professional journey hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has taught me something valuable. After emigrating and reinventing my business, I learned to adapt and trust my instincts. I faced moments of uncertainty, but I decided to move forward with courage and commitment. Along the way, I learned to prioritize my well-being and align my work with my values, which has allowed me to create something meaningful and lasting.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that every photograph, every piece of content, carries a part of my story. My goal is not only to capture images but to tell stories that resonate with people. My story is one of perseverance, reinvention, and authenticity, and I want that energy to shine through in everything I do.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my husband, whose patience, unconditional support, and love have been fundamental in my personal and professional journey. I also want to thank my family and friends, who, that even if it may be far away or not, have always believed in me and pushed me to keep moving forward. And, of course, to all my followers and the community I’ve been building, because without them, I wouldn’t have come this far.
