Hi Mary, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
The single most important decision I made that contributed to my success have been taking the first step to start and pressing pass fear. I realize that I was never going to open my business if I did not decide to release being afraid of failing. I prolonged starting my business for two years because of fear. It was the best decision I have ever made becoming my own boss.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Lillie & Sadie is and online jewelry and accessory suite. We specialize in stylish pieces that curates a carefully selected collection of jewelry and accessories. What sets us apart is that we take pride in our commitment to ethical practices, ensuring that each piece reflects not only beauty but also a conscious choice towards sustainability. We are excited about the future of Lillie & Sadie. Our goal is to open up a brick and mortal in 2024.

As we all know, there will always be trials and tribulations being and entreprenuer so as a business owner is not for the faint of heart, It has not been easy but, it has been all worth it. However, with the challenges that I faced I am a believer that you go thru hardship to come out greater. So, I welcomed the hard part because I knew it was all apart of the process. Because of that I am now able to handle advertisity different.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would welcome my friend to Atlanta with a mix of cultural, culinary and recreational experiences. We would first visit the Beltline where she can enjoy iconic southern cruisine at a local restaurant while strolling in and out of shops. I would take her to ponce city market or the shops of buckhead to enjoy the city while enjoying the city life. Maybe a spa day at Woodhouse for a good facial massage and lunch afterwards at 5Church. With a little rest and relaxing in between I would wrap up the week with a relaxing evening at a rooftop bar to savor the city skyline. Atlanta offers a diverse range of activities, ensuring a memorable visit for my friend

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shout out my sister, business owner coach, mother and soon to be best selling author Valerie Milner. She has been my rock and supporter. She is always there to lift me when life gets heavy all while running her own business. I could not do that things I do without her by my side.
