We had the good fortune of connecting with Marvin LaViolette and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marvin, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
One thing about my industry that outside is probably unaware of is that it’s a marathon not a race!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As an artist from my experiences I never grew up wanting to be one, it just kind of happened beautifully in an organized and divine chaos which didn’t come easy as people outside of the entertainment industry would think. I’d say what definitely sets me apart is my genuine eccentric super power of being truthfully vulnerable and in the moment. I’m the most expressive yet secretive person in the world (I think). I passionately want to help and give to others because I want to be the person I longed far as a child.
Through these truths I was and able To face my problems head on no matter how big or time it takes for challenge. I learned that to get passed something you must except first to go through it.
Don’t marvel in it.,It’s OK to go through the steps and the process is beautiful . It’s a part of the journey so remember that. What I want the world to know about me is those who gave always have and those who take always need. You always have enough for your current stage. Now it all comes down to what you need to move forward to the next one. I have all that I need at my current stage, so I have to be OK with constantly taking inventory of myself to give as I obtain.
It’s a marathon not a race.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To be honest it’s going to be the beltline. The restaurants, music, people and energy no matter the weather there’s always something there to do. We would go hit up hawkers, then move on to Piedmont Park for yoga followed by a drive to marietta for some Haitian food then to truest park for a Braves game. Then to Buckhead for the gun range followed by bowling at The painted pin.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Special thanks to God,Family, and my team!
