We had the good fortune of connecting with Marsharee Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marsharee, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is excellent customer service which leads to an excellent customer experience! From start to finish I intentionally create the ultimate customer experience. I offer jewelry customization based on the customer’s needs and wants and create quality one of a kind, unique and meaningful pieces for my customers. Each order is packaged with great attention to detail which includes a high quality jewelry bag, care instructions and a handwritten thank you card.

I create handmade customized jewelry with a touch of inspiration. Jewelry is often worn because it holds a special meaning or memory to the person wearing it. As a jewelry designer, I consider it an honor to be able to create meaningful, one of a kind pieces that offer inspiration or that hold a special meaning for my customers.
My business is still a work in progress. I have learned a lot since I started Wrist Royalty in 2018. I had to educate myself about beads and the best materials and techniques to use when making handmade jewelry and I am still learning more everyday. When I first started out, I also had to learn how to use social media as a marketing and advertising tool to help my business grow. I learn new things daily and if something doesn’t work I have learned to try it another way.
There have been many challenges and so much to learn and at times when the challenges or problems have come, I’ve felt like giving up but then something inside of me pushes me to keep going. Along the way, I have learned that it’s ok for everything not to be perfect because my business and product development are a process. I now understand that when problems arise, I shouldn’t get frustrated and think about giving up but instead use the challenges or problems as a lesson and a stepping stone to do something better….to create something better.
I started Wrist Royalty because two of my best friends Charalaina Heard and Stephanie Bryant loved bracelets that I made for them as gifts. Both of them were inspired by the handmade bracelets that I had created for them out of the love in my heart for them as my beautiful friends. Both of them being successful women entrepreneurs and women that I admire urged me to make my creations available for sale because they both believed that other people would love the jewelry and could be inspired just as they were. I want the world to know that Wrist Royalty is not just a business to me but it’s my opportunity to use my God given creativity and talent to make a difference in people’s lives through creating meaningful and inspirational handmade jewelry.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank my family and friends for supporting me throughout my entrepreneurship journey! They attend any face to face markets or events that I have, spread the word to their friends and colleagues about my business, like and share my content on social media as well as patronize my business and dare me to give them a discount! I am forever grateful for their prayers, words of encouragement and support!
