Hi Marquis, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The Most Important Factor behind my success & the success of my brand, I would say is the ability to be the spark of creating change for the better in the world. Often times there’s only talk about it, we all know talk is cheap. I thank GOD for allowing me to use my gifts and talents to actively create the positive change with my actions and work. Don’t Gossip about the change that’s needed, Stand Up and Act on it. I back up what I say because I’m about it and will Always Do Something about something.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am An Actor and Entertainer. I am very sincere and Humble with my craft. I don’t take myself serious but I do take my craft and what I do serious. Since a kid I Always had a different type of Passion and Determination. I have always been consistent with My Dreams and Worked hard towards them regardless of life and setbacks. I always knew what I wanted and how to go for it and get it. If I said it, I was going to do it. I don’t back down and love the challenges that come. What doesn’t break you only makes you Stronger. When I was 16 I started having bad anxiety and Panic attacks and it was the worse. I was rushed to the hospital countless of times and thought it would be my last breath on earth, I couldn’t bare the feeling. I was so hurt and down having that fear of defeat and feeling that I wouldn’t make it to see the days to live out my Dreams and make a change. Since then my Relationship with GOD became stronger than anything. I have learned to not worry or stress, you do what you can and the rest will fall into place. It’s good to have plans, but I am a risk taker with faith. Why have a back up plan when you can just go hard on your one plan and let everything come about from it. My brand is “Living Greatness by Alexander” which is an Organization that helps youth and teens be heard and understood, so they can be put on the right path to their greatness and making positivity their reality. What sparked my interest in doing this was from me being Molested , Physically, Emotionally, & Mentally Bullied. I also survived a Suicide attempt. I want to show that no matter what you experienced in your past it doesn’t have to be in your present or future. You don’t also have to become what you’ve been through. It’s power in knowing you can become bigger and better than your situation(s) in life. Stay true to who you are and Never let anyone bring you down, don’t allow yourself to be in the way from Living in your Greatness.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh Man where do I start, I am The Turn up King and all for a a good time, it’s the Taurus in Me. So Monday we would go to the beach and Go to Nobu in Malibu which is good for Food and drinks with the ocean sore. Also go shopping on Rodeo And Go to some bars that night. Tuesday go hiking and sight see on the Runyon cannon and then go to brunch to a nice rooftop with endless mimosas, that night go bowling. Wednesday go to The Ivar Winery and do wine testing and have some good food, later that day go skating and have a boogie time. Thursday go to breakfast on a rooftop, later go to an Arcade then dinner at a nice ocean view restaurant. Friday go to an amusement party, later that night go to 2 or 3 different clubs. Saturday go to the mountains have a picnic , paddle boats on the ocean and then that night go to the movies. Sunday Church thanking GOD and giving praise for all he does and allowing us to have fun and being safe. Then departure.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to first give all Praise to GOD. I also want to shoutout My Beautiful Queen and Pops. They are the most Sincere, True and Real (MVP) Most Valuable Parents Ever. From The Unconditional Support and Love, they are always there for me and since a kid knew exactly what to do that would push me to be my best and bring it up out of me. I am the youngest of 5 so I Am loved and always supported. With that said I also want to shout out my Family and Friends who just always gave me that gratitude & gratefulness of seeing my talents and always reassuring me that I would be something big someday.
