Hi Markanthony “MAC”, what do you attribute your success to?
The authenticity of my MAC brand. It’s consistent and genuine which people appreciate. What comes from the heart goes to the heart. Authenticity can’t be mistaken for false pretenses.

What should our readers know about your business?
Mactastic Media, LLC has become a huge boon. I initially started my media company to publish my memoir Ghetto Diamond: A Memoir by MAC. Through adaptations of life it’s evolved to a complete media company with two cornerstone shows “Cigar Chats with MAC” and “The Purple Panties Podcast” exclusively on MactasticTV (YouTube).

My road has certainly been filled with many challenges, adversities and setbacks however “Passion is the cushion for adversity”. When you’re passionate about any endeavor it provides you with the ability to take a lick and keep on ticking.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to a few cigar bars, some of my favorite restaurants in the city as well as a sports event depending on what’s in season. If they were coming this fall I would certainly take them to a Falcons game. Now for a certain group of friends I would take them to my favorite “Gentlemen’s Club” so they could really feel the culture of ATL.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost I have to give all honor and praise to God! NOTHING IS POSSIBLE WITHOUT HIM 🙏🏽. After the lord I have to pay obeisance to my great-grandmother “Mrs. Luebirdia Edison” who raised me and embedded the importance of Faith and belief in oneself. My purpose is to be an “Agent of Hope” for Gods people. So many people are scared to take chances and pursue their God given dreams that many of them leave this world with unfulfilled desires. My story is a story of a man who found his purpose in pursuit of his “DREAM”.

Also special shout to my 3 sons Mal, Zach and Gavin. Last but not least is a special thanks to my sister Tamara Claiborne and my brother Marquis “Baby Bruh” Dixon.
