We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark Zinno and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mark, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
We are impacting lives of veterans and former professional athletes by breaking down barriers and stigma while helping them through transition away from the military/professional sports.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have had multiple careers that have challenged me along the way. I’ve worked in radio and television as an on-air host for nearly 20 years and have been able to overcome many challenges along the way. This was a career field that pushed me harder than anything I could have imagined and I always responded with hard work to overcome those challenges. I’ve also been in the US Army for over 20 years and that was a much different challenge. But it was others in the military who have helped me with those challenges.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the Battery, golfing, midtown (probably Piedmont Park) and Buckhead.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My time while serving in the US Army has provided a foundation for leadership and communication, while working with others from all different backgrounds and experiences. I am grateful for all the people and Soldiers who worked side-by-side with me and helped make me a better leader.
