Meet Mark Hill | Spaceship Engineer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mark, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Hard work and dedication is the reason for my success. Starting a business from scratch is not the easiest thing to do. Constantly having to motivate myself throughout the hard times. When no one believed in me I still strived to be great because this was something I wanted to leave behind for my kids.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
This business was something I didn’t know anything about. I was A full-time warehouse worker for 4 years. I’ve always been good with cars so I see a video of YouTube about starlight headliners. At the time nobody in my city was doing this type of work. So I ordered some kits and tried myself and it went from there. I installed one inside of my buddy cars. I was super good at it and I started posting on social media and I started a business. It’s was not easy in the beginning. I was working 60 plus hours a week at a warehouse and working on cars after I got off work. I made it look easy but it was the hardest thing I did. I didn’t want to quit my job at the moment because I still had a family and need a stable income. I was using cars just as a side hustle to make more money. Around April of 2024 my business started growing fast from social media. I had reels on Instagram go viral and I started to get notice from all around the world. At this time I was making more income from my business than my 9 to 5. I was tired of the job so I stepped out on faith. This was the best thing I could have did. Now I have a successful business that is growing rapidly.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a friend visiting to Atlanta I would take them downtown Atlanta. The scenery is amazing and it’s always something to see in the city. There are a lot of cool place to shoot some car videos and explore.

The ponce city market is my top spot in Atlanta. It’s a lot of cool restaurants in side and they also have a rooftop. On the rooftop you can play mini golf, games, and see the view of the entire city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank god first and foremost for blessing me with all the opportunities that have come. Without god any of this wouldn’t be possible. My family and friends supported me from day one making this dream come true.
