We had the good fortune of connecting with Marjory Cesar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marjory, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I learned in real estate it is important to operate as a business if you are going to take it seriously. So, I learned all the necessary steps needed and created Cesar and Associates.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a Boston, Mass native and a graduate of Boston College with a BA in Political Science under the Pre-Law program with a concentration in Accounting. After 8 years as an accountant, I decided it was time to embark on a new Journey and became a Realtor. I have been a business owner since 2006 when I founded Cesar & Associates. I take a special approach to real estate, one that is centralized on personal attention, Local market knowledge and positive results for all parties. My clients are most important to me. I listen and that means I finds solutions that are tailored to my clients. With a reputation for exceptional customer service, I always keep the focus on my clients.

I currently live with my 3 children and have been a native of Georgia now for 20+ years. When not serving my clients, I volunteer at local charities and I am also a public speaker. In my free time, I write and record my own music and I am also a ballroom dancer. I especially enjoys vacations with my family.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A few of the places we would visit Visit Slutty Vegan for lunch
Agave restaurant for dinner
Skyview Atlanta to take the Ferris wheel ride and view the city
Marlow’s Tavern for Brunch
Cirque Blu Seafood House for dinner
El Aztecan for lunch
See a show at Fox Theater
Le Petit Marche for breakfast
The Beverly sports club to see a game and have drinks
Atlanta Botanical Garden for a unique experience
Piedmont Park for a nice afternoon
City Lights of Atlanta Night-Time Sightseeing Tour

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My real estate coaches have been a major part of my success. They hold me accountable and make sure to push me. When I started as a full-time agent 8 years ago, I gave myself one shot to make it or go back to the corporate world. I was in a tough place in my life with $12 dollars to my name and no vision on how I was going to succeed. My coach helped me look forward to the possibilities instead of backwards to my mistakes and with that I became successful and am still in the top 5% of agents in Atlanta.

I also listened to so many videos and motivational speakers that I believe helped me tremendously from failing. I listen to Les Brown, E the hip hop preacher, Ophrah, Grant Cardone, Wayne Dryer, Tony Robbins and many others.
