We had the good fortune of connecting with Marji Coles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marji, how does your business help the community?
As a marketing consultant, real estate professional, & nonprofit president/founder for teen girls and young mothers, my work impacts the community and the world in many key ways. In marketing I help local businesses and nonprofits improve their visibility and grow. By helping elevate these businesses & organizations, I contribute to the local economy, supporting job creation and economic growth. In real estate helping families and individuals find stable housing improves their quality of life and creates generational wealth. My nonprofit Ladies of 2morrow focuses on mentorship, financial literacy, personal development, and life skills, equipping teen girls & mothers with the tools they need to succeed.
Together, all businesses work to uplift the community by providing stability, financial education, and empowerment, creating a lasting impact for generations.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My journey has been a testimony of transformation and passion, one that has been anything but easy, but incredibly life changing.
After starting my first company in 2018 and scaling it I realized that I had a passion for marketing so I started a career in digital marketing, initially working with small businesses to help them reach their audience and grow their brands. This led me to the world of real estate, where I focused on how buying & investing could improve the lives of individuals and communities. As my expertise grew, I began to merge these two worlds, offering marketing to small businesses and real estate services with a focus on community impact.
The challenge, of course, was figuring out how to blend all my ventures—marketing, real estate, and now nonprofit work. I didn’t want to just make a profit; I wanted to create something that could give back and make a difference.
The road isn’t always smooth. There are still plenty of obstacles along the way. One of the hardest lessons I learned was that not every idea or venture will succeed, and that’s okay.
The biggest lesson has been navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship—finding the right team, learning how to delegate, and staying true to my mission despite financial pressures. A huge part of overcoming these challenges was building a network of supportive mentors and peers who believed in my vision and provided guidance.
What sets me apart from others is my holistic & spiritual approach. Everything I do is to create something that’s not only successful but has a lasting impact on my community.
I’m most proud of my nonprofit work and the tangible impact it has on teen lives. Whether it’s supporting education initiatives, or offering mentorship to those in need, being able to contribute directly to the community is incredibly fulfilling. I’m excited about the future of my nonprofit and how we can continue to innovate and grow to meet the needs of underprivileged populations.
I want the world to know that my brand is built on integrity, service, and impact. My story is one of perseverance and dedication to doing things differently because I truly believe that business and community impact should go hand in hand. If I can inspire others to approach their life with that same mindset, then I will consider my life & vision a success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was in town for a week we would hang out at the The Beltline for bar hopping & to check out the art scene, Piedmont Park for a bike ride, and Decatur Square for some amazing food. We would do some partying at Rock Steady, Blue Martini, and Cheetah Lounge. We would enjoy some girl time at The Red Phone Booth & Flight Club Atlanta. On sunday we would enjoy some good soul food at Virgil’s Gullah Kitchen & Bar in Midtown & head over to Spaceman for some nice views.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my tribe, God & my son. The countless support I have from my family, friends, and my son is what keeps me going. They constantly remind me of who I am in days where I feel like I ‘m not walking in purpose or the woman God has called me to be. I give them all the credit for not only loving me but being my cheerleader and support system!
