We had the good fortune of connecting with Marion Foddrell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marion, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Being an analyst for over ten years in my career ignited something inside me. The characteristics of an analyst became a part of who I am which was probably slightly annoying to loved ones, lol.  I found myself easily devoted to problem-solving, strategically thinking with others while incorporating a flare of creativity. During this process, I notice that so many people want a business, but they don’t know where to start. They don’t solve for the “why” or “the bottom line”; there is a lack of strategy while facilitating the correct mindset and invoking a brand identity. After identifying these inadequacies, God gave me the courage to start Her Method LLC, an all-inclusive platform for entrepreneurs and start-ups.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

I believe that God has given everyone a gift and purpose, but sometimes, a little structure is required to achieve excellence. As entrepreneurs, we have many ideas and concepts that could use some development, which I like to call “beautiful chaos.” Her Method LLC cultivates start-ups by creating a strategic plan aligned with structure and an execution plan while creating a brand identity. Once a customized strategy is created, Her Method will assist with an implementation process that includes marketing, business plans, coaching sessions, websites development, logo, etc.

I’m most excited about Her Method giving entrepreneurs the chance to think about the bigger picture while preparing for identified and unidentified obstacles that may cross their paths. This allows them to see their destination and walk in it confidently.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Anyone close to me knows that I love God, coffee, and Cross-fit (in that order). With that being said, we’re definitely having a cup of coffee while catching up. Then we’re going to visit my gym at CrossFit Forward and lift some weights. We’ll probably hit a few PR’s on deadlifts, front squat, back squats, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First, I would have to give God credit for my success. He’s given me the strength to endure every circumstance in my life. Next, my children Charlotte (six years old) and Langston (three years old), everything I do is for them. Last but not least, my parents and siblings are there for me no matter what!
