We had the good fortune of connecting with Marcus Hanna and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marcus, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted something that was mine, Something that would support my dreams without taking up much of my time! For this that don’t know other than me being a Producer/Engineer, I also own & operate a trucking company.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Owner & Operator of Soundzz Transport. Started in 2017 as a contractor in lieu within a mega carrier trucking company. While being under their umbrella, I quickly learned the in/outs of the logistics industry! 2 Years on cutthroat work and studying I was soon to beach off from the big dawgs and fly! From the $2500 settlement to the -$9400 weeks when I wanted to be off for personal reasons. After a 9 month hang up due to health I got back to it! Health is the many challenge for me on the road and Til this day, it still gets hard to manage but stay at it and stay consistent! I want the world to know that My company is a Black Owned & Operated Company!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I Love City Views, I dream of high rises! 30 floors in the air and it’s all exclusively mines! For a week, I would go to Bora Bora. Easily my dream trip! From the peaceful aura to the crystal clear waters! This is where I find my peace! We would see the trails, explore the culture and eat their foods! A 10/10 experience that the average person wouldn’t forget.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Aww man, all my true friends! It’s not a lot of them but special shout-out! They keep me going by checking on me various times because I do tend to zone out and be away for a while! They motivate me by keeping up and going with their own endeavors! Success moves me to become better and makes me strive to complete my short/long term goals. And Definitely a huge HUGE shoutout to the “Supercharged Family” aka “HAWK GVNG” though. Just a group and young bosses working to be the best of whatever their individuals dreams are!
