We had the good fortune of connecting with Malika Edwards and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Malika, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I started my business I really didn’t put much thought into it. My friend called me with a opportunity in network marketing. I had no clue what I was doing but I knew I loved helping people and the products she was selling actually was making a difference in people lives. I was always on the heavy side and got sick with stomach ulcers to were I couldn’t eat. Lose my weight super fast and unhealthy. I passed out January 2020 and I didn’t like it. I feel like God was telling me something, to get my health in order. I did just that, starting drinking water and cutting out a lot of sweets and pork. September 2020 is when my friend Sanya Mills introduced me to Drink2Shrink!!! It changed my family life for the better. My boyfriend has diabetes 2 with Drink2Shrink he no longer need shots and pills and his A1C levels are great!!! My sons have lose a lot of weight from using the product. I have clients with amazing weight loss testimonies!! I say I don’t necessarily have a talent but I love to care for people. God brought this opportunity my way and I’m so happy!! I enjoying selling my products but I love the weight loss testimonies and the health results. It’s amazing and I in the process of starting workout classes at the moment I just walk with some of my clients. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I reside in Raleigh NC I ran away to find my mom here in 2005, I was a foster child. Me coming here was very challenging had to grow up really fast so I didn’t hang out much but i would recommend downtown Raleigh lots of restaurants and activities to do or glenwood Ave have bars and restaurants. Don’t mind driving a few hours you can go to Greensboro I heard it’s thing’s to do there as well.

I would love to give a shout out Sanya Mills for just picking up the phone and calling me with a wonderful opportunity!! I meet Sanya in 2019 during filming and we just clicked. After bringing in News Years together I didn’t hear to much from her. We was doing our thing living life. I had no clue she even switched her business opportunity in the first place so when she called about it I was shocked like okay let me think about it!! My kids was doing the most, school closed because of COVID-19. I was scared to go to work because of COVID-19 so I called her back and said Sanya I’m ready. I could figure out the other things in network marketing so I was worried. Sanya was there ever step of the way and I was actually doing it. Sanya has made a big difference in my life and I love her so much for thinking about me and believing in me. I always knew I was greater than just a 9-5 and Sanya gave me the push I needed so thank you so much my sister!!
