We had the good fortune of connecting with Magen Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Magen, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have always truly wanted to help people, but wasn’t sure exactly how. Until I started going within, journaling, meditating, working through my emotions, traumas and insecurities, I found the light in the darkness. By doing so, I knew that was my purpose, to help others find the light as well. Providing them with the safe space and tools to help them grow and find their authentic selves. I never once thought, “will this work?” I just knew I had to start where I was and go forward with it, confidently and with love.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business, Soul Healing Rocks, focuses on helping others. I offer a few different modalities including: Reiki, Sound Healing, Past Life Regression, Spiritual Coaching and Tarot/Oracle readings. My goal is to provide the tools and space for individuals to go within, do the work and transform. On this journey, I have watched my clients grow and heal, and it has been simply beautiful. It brings me tremendous joy to see others find the love that has been within them all along. Healing isn’t all sunshine and rainbows but once you do the work, and have patience, it’s magical. The reason I have this passion to help others is because, I, myself was hiding away in the darkness and was unhappy. I grew and unlearned what I have been programmed to believe was truth, and found my light within. Everyone is worthy of this love and light and I want to help others find it, because we are all capable.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take them outside in nature! I love going to Line Creek in Peachtree City, to relax, walk, meditate, listen to the sounds and be one with Mother Earth. The House of Light in Newnan is a wonderful space that has many events focusing on energy work, crafting and wellness, it’s a must!!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shoutout my husband, best friend and soul mate, Skyler Wright. He has given me the love, compassion, trust, and space to really heal and find myself. I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today without his support and guidance. I am forever grateful for him.
