We had the good fortune of connecting with Luciano Wallace and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Luciano, how do you think about risk?
I believe that fortune favors the brave. In my life there have been few moments where I’ve taken a risk and was able to reap the benefits. You have to be smart with you decisions and make sure to play your cards right.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I push my field as Creative Direction, meaning my art comes in many forms. I see fashion as my art. From styling clothes for others to designing and sewing garments from scratch. I also work directing and writing screenplays. I don’t want to be boxed in as only a model. I have much more to give than just a face. I work continuously on honing my craft and getting better everyday at my passions. As of right now, I am most proud about this years Whensmokeclears S/S 2022 fashion show. This was my first runway show that was aired and showcased in New York Fashion Week. I’m excited for the years to come as I work harder and harder to pursue a legacy. If i had any advice i could give it would be to continue to follow the vision you have, no matter how much hate you get, as long as you stay genuine to yourself you will see positive change come.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout my close circle. They know who they are. They have helped me get through a lot of mental and physical hardships and i wouldn’t be the person i am today without them by my side.
