We had the good fortune of connecting with Lito Grizzley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lito, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Honestly, the only habit that helped me succeed was getting out of my head & actually doing the work. I’ve always been an over-thinker in every aspect of my life but eventually I had to have a sit down talk with myself. I’m my worst biggest enemy & if I let my thoughts & self doubt take over, I would never be able to chase my dreams & help influence others.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
“ Looksbylito “ is a name I’ve created when I started my journey on YouTube. I’ve always been into fashion & wanted a platform where I was able to broadcast my ideas with the world. My channel consist of fashion hauls, styling videos & vlogs. I currently have about 470 subscribers & it means the world to me. Even though I deal with mental health, I couldn’t let that suppress the thrill & enthusiasm I had when it came to creating content. While on this journey of becoming an influencer/model, I’ve learned that you have to be willing to take risk. You will honestly never know the outcome of any situation unless you put yourself out there. I want the world to know that “ LooksbyLito “ is a channel where you get to see a young handsome 6’5 man dive deep into big and tall fashion. I use my platform to be real transparent which will make it more relatable for everybody. My new motto is “ Do it like its your B-day “ and I will live by that. Everyday is a celebration!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The very place I’m taking the homies is to Taco Mac lol. Everybody loves wings & appetizers, so that would be the the initial place. The following day ( if it’s Saturday ) I would take them to brunch. I’ve always wanted to try Breakfast at Barney’s or Toast at Lenox. After brunch, we would find a day party to get some hookah and two step on a couch. Sundays in ATL is always the best & im 100% sure I would take them out to brunch again maybe to Flying Biscuit. We would enjoy Sunday funday in the heart of the city or go to Ponce on the rooftop.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give all the praises and thanks to my almighty Jesus Christ. Without him, there would be no me. Secondly, I want to give an huge shoutout to my parents + siblings + godparents for loving me unconditionally and helping me along the way. Lastly, my friends as well. They motivate me to do better & always encourage me to keep going. If I had to give somebody a little more recognition or credit, it would be ME! I’ve been through so much & im in a place of transformation. I’ve came so far & kept going even after doubting myself. & fearing the unknown!
