We had the good fortune of connecting with Lissette Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lissette, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I knew that I wanted to help people feel better. Starting my own business as a Certified Reflexologist was the way,
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I opened 4 Peace Sake Wellness Center in the City limits of Marietta in 2019. March 2020 the pandemic really made me question resigning the lease. I moved into a smaller space until that property was sold. I went home to take care of my family and continue my studies online. I learned to pivot with the changes and to make the best of every situation. I never gave up on wanting to reopen.
I love the saying, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Helping people feel better one step at a time and making profound connections with people on my life path is my personal mission.
In 2023 my Husband and I renovated a 1940’s abandoned house on farmland in Cobb County, Marietta. I reopened 4 Peace Sake Wellness Center! My menu of services includes foot, hands, ears and face reflexology, Indian head massage, energy balance, sound bath, aromatherapy consultations, and aromatic warm foot soak and sugar scrub. I meet the clients where they are at. I customize the sessions every time to their needs. I love to see the benefits that they receive in peeling back the layers of time. Reflexology works the reflex points of the organs, glands and body systems and brings relaxation and balance to the body, mind, and spirit.
I share this house with other like minded and open hearted practitioners to provide a diverse wellness experience. Integrative Massage by Shelby Woodall, Svaroopa Yoga by Robin Nityaa Blakenship, Eden Energy Medicine by Julie Demenkow, Breath work and Sound baths by Sarah Krippner, Twin Heart Meditation and Pranic Healing by Mansi Kumar. Please check our website 4PeaceSake.net to book a session, for classes, and events.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting me for a week in Marietta, we would have a blast! I would have to say that shopping and dining at Marietta Square could easily be visited more than once. The Battery at the Braves stadium is a fun day or night trip with vast restaurants and shops too. To take in some nature and exercise a hike at the Kennesaw Mountain Park trails is a must. I love my backyard and home, so meals and quiet time is a special catch up and restful time with my friend. I would end the trip with a tour of 4 Peace Sake Wellness Center and a reflexology session.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I started my studies in Reflexology in 2005 at the Heal Center in Atlanta with Roz Zollinger. I continued to advanced studies in foot and hand reflexology as well as aromatherapy, and then was prepared by Roz to become a Nationally Certified Reflexologist. Ko Tan at the Academy of Radiant Health certified me in ear and face reflexology. Karen Ball at the Academy of Ancient Reflexology certified me in Thai Reflexology. Sue Ricks at the Sue Ricks Academy certified me in teaching Gentle Touch Reflexology for Babies and Children. Karen Middleton at the Auckland School of Reflexology certified me in Indian Head Massage. I am a proud member of the Georgia Reflexology Organization.
