We had the good fortune of connecting with Lindsey Locklear and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lindsey, how do you think about risk?
It has played a tremendous role in my life& career or boy I wouldn’t be where I’m at today! Life is all about taking risks and knowing when something is right or wrong for you! I tell people all the time you don’t never know your full potential unless you take risks and set boundaries for yourself don’t waste yourself!!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I always try to go in with anything I do with a bang like give ya the bang for your buck well that’s what Lindsey D does. God blessed me with a energy to entertain and let others forget about there life for a moment! I always shake the scene up with my confidence and the southern accent I have that people love. It’s not always easy to step out in the world and be a creative! You give yourself so much to other people and what’s better than separating the two! Coming from a small town it’s always a lil bit harder with the resources but, that’s what makes it even more special going threw the struggles it really taught me a lesson to open up to meet new people! Know how to open my mouth to speak to people to not be scared to ask for things or help! I want the world to know if you put your craft to the test that’s the only way you can know your full potential unless you step out on faith closed mouths don’t get fed on the boulevard!! Keep praying and don’t never backtrack where your going always look ahead!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, first I would take the girls to JJ Chicken& Fish which is special place that one of Shawty Lo family introduced me too! Then do some shopping at Pressed which is the owner and my fave LH&H star of mine Rasheeda Frost! I couldn’t miss Hatties Marie’s and a Tyler Perry Studio tour to carry the night threw we would definitely hit up Magic City as well for a lil turn up with the Atlanta dancers! We like to have fun, dance&network with different entertainers you never know what you can connect!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, I would love to give a shout-out to all my cast members that I have shared the stage with from Flying Angel Entertainment or Lowanda Davis Productions out of the NC area! These guys have taught me so much along with my Zmear Kalle” Kulture as well with the ladies of Buns and Basketball!! With patience, guidance, & love these people showed me what it was to work with honest people in the industry.
