We had the good fortune of connecting with Levi Harrell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Levi, how does tech affect you and your business? How does it help? How can it hold you or others in your industry back?
Technology plays a major role in my business simply because that is what’s currently driving our world. For the most part, a lot of my clients or speaking requests come from people who have already seen me in action. However, there are still those who have only seen me via media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or Facebook live. Etc. I also have a Podcast called “Strat.i.jee W/ Levi Harrell that can be found on apple (iPhone) platforms, Spotify, iHeart Radio, and so many other outlets. I am also an author of two #1 Amazon best selling books. I mention that because for my E-book readers they read it digitally which of course, apart of technology. Check them out. “Young Sir: Principles For Becoming A Man Of Character, Commitment, and Courage. The other is, “Rule By Decree: Protocols For Strategic Declarations.” Also, Another shameless plug, I recently launched a new part of my business called “Strategic Consulting” Where I train and provide strategies to aspiring or seasoned business owners, taking their business to new heights! Book your session by emailing OfficeOfLHE@Gmail.com In conclusion, I am also the Editor-In-Chief Of Plastiq Magazine where we utilize social media to push our brand and our latest issues! Check us out!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Overall, I am a very chill laid back, kind of guy. However, in terms of business, I can be a tad bit aggressive. The same applies to what I do in ministry. I take what I do seriously. I am in the business of inspiring, empowering, and loving people. Many people that I encounter are in-between a rock and a hard place. On the verge of committing suicide or overcoming a life-altering situation. Therefore, I have to be careful with my words, actions, and countenance. Whenever someone leaves my presence I want to ensure that they leave with a greater zeal then they had before. outside of what I do from a Pastoral perspective, I coach and advise artists, CEO’s, entrepreneurs, Authors, and others. Pushing them to be their best selves! At the end of the day, my mission is to make people better and I take great joy in doing so!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, one of my favorite spots is 5-Church ATL. In addition, anything seafood-related, such as the Juicy Crab is amazing! If you are a healthy eating individual I also love True Foods! The best vegan food ever. If it’s your first time in Atlanta, then the cocoa-cola factory is always cool. The Georgia Aquarium is cool too. The Yard House at Atlantic Station is also my favorite spot. There Boneless Mild Buffalo wings are amazing!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my mother, The one and only Fe Fe The great! aka Felicia Harrell. I literally would not be here if it was not for her. Beyond being my mom, she has been the greatest support system ever! I’d like to shout-out my spiritual mother, Dr. Cindy Trimm-Tomlinson. She was able to give me the articulation for the things I’ve felt spiritually as well as the strategy to make it happen. In addition, she ordained me so I would not be able to preach, teach, etc, without her training and covering. I also, want to shout out all those who are reading this! I want you to know that you have everything on the inside of you that you need to be successful. Go write your book, start your business, sing and/or write your song. The world needs your voice!
