We had the good fortune of connecting with LeTonya F. Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LeTonya F., how does your business help the community?
We realized very early that a brand’s success and longevity is intertwined with the vision and purpose of the visionary. There is an innate disregard of self that we see over and over with high achieving people. There are compartmentalization and a wall that is constructed between the vision and the visionary, this could lead to very detrimental outcomes down the road. When we look at Kate Spade, Robin Williams, and others, the world saw greatness; but it was clearly a dark and lonely place that ended in a devastating way. Our company takes a holistic approach to the way that we provide services and take into account the person, the purpose, and profitability. We know that historically disadvantaged populations have been conditioned to work, work, work, and produce, produce, produce. We have created systems and strategies to arm our clients with tools to reframe the work and produce mentality into the motivate, master, and multiply mindset.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have a holistic brand and asset protection legal practice where we provide outside general counsel services, business structure development and infrastructure support, and tax resolution services to small and emerging product and service-based businesses, We are set apart by our philosophy that a brand is comprised of more than just a business entity and is a multidimensional organism where each element has unique needs to be met. I am most excited about the fact that in 2020, we have taken the holistic services model and created two programs: Brand Builders and Legalproof Your Business Entrepreneurs Academy. Brand Builders is a multi-level business mentor service for experts and professionals seeking to transition their passion project into a profitable enterprise. It combines a customized life, legal, and business blueprint for each client. The Legalproof Your Business Entrepreneurs Academy is a legal education program that provides fundamental legal education and training to the budding entrepreneur and those who are entrepreneur ready. When I decided to leave the corporate rat race and transition into my own passion project, like many I made some missteps and miscalculated some things. There were several challenges, like access to capital, manpower and hiring good employees, truly understanding how to target my unique market, and time management. I was able to overcome these challenges by coming into the realization that if I wanted to be a personal and business success, I needed to invest in myself. I had to invest in my own personal development first and then business development. Although it was not an easy road, I have combined all of the lessons learned over these past seven years and built those into the solid success roadmap that I share with both legal and program clients. I would like for people to know that I have walked the hard road of the entrepreneur journey, so that they do not have to walk the same road. My business partner says, “The biggest disappointment would be for a person to be a public success and a private failure.” Our brand is built upon the principles of success from the inside out.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
What I love most about Atlanta is the diversity of history, culture, entertainment, and somewhat of a small-town feel in big city living. We would visit the Escape Room, Coca Cola, CNN, take a short trip North to Georgia wine country for a wine tasting, maybe spend the night at Chateau Elan resort, we’d have to eat at the Old Lady Gang, visit the Georgia Aquarium, the Atlanta Zoo (I love animals), visit the Center for Civil and Human Rights, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, and visit Auburn Avenue to take in some history and eat some great food.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I dedicate my success to my family, who has supported me throughout my life’s journey. Also, to the Kingdom Church and my Pastor Mario Brown, who challenged me to be all that God has called me to be and to be unapologetic in proclaiming the role that God has played in my life.
