We had the good fortune of connecting with Le’Roy Mcsmith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Le’Roy, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
How I approach the risk aspect of life my be a little more reckless than most people. I love to throw my self out into the unknown to gain experience and knowledge to continue to push me through this game we call life.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Hmmm, to be totally honest my art is just Living in the moment. Regardless of what activity or task that is bestowed in front of me i have this urge to conquer it in all aspects. Sometimes its a long journey and sometimes it is a short one but through it all, at the end of the day it is an experience. I believe what’s sets me apart from most ppl is that you can put almost any tool/ object in my hands and with minimal knowledge and watch me figure it out within the first thirty minutes to do the job or tricks. The main lesson that sticks with me too this day is just try it if you don’t you will forever not know the knowledge from it. My brand and story are pretty much the same go with the flow and jump into the unknown. Allow your mind to explore the scariest parts of itself it’ll make you love you so much more when you understand that fear isn’t fear.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well first id take them to get some good barbecue from one of my favorite spots in Atlanta which is Fat Macs. Honestly they’d sort of be on their own when it comes to the night life I’m not much for going out late night anymore I’ve grew out that have a little to fast for my liking, so id probably tell them to go to CRU Lounge and enjoy them selves and take a couple of shots for me. When it comes to activities i like to keep some place’s secret, due to the fact that they are not crowded and its very low key so if you’re a good friend of mine and your coming in town ill take you there, but id keep those gems for myself.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to thank my wife first and foremost to keep me on track and helping support not only her dreams but mine as well and id like to shout out all my close friends and family for being honest with me and not letting me stop myself. Also lets go ahead and shout out my family man, some of the realest people that i know at times it can be hard to deal with all the groups of people stated above but I promise all intentions come from a great place.
