We had the good fortune of connecting with Leneille Moon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leneille, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Seeing my client’s reactions when they receive a floral arrangement I’ve designed. It’s the best feeling ever to lift someone’s spirits!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a floral and event design company based in Roswell Ga servicing the Metro Atlanta area and beyond. I’m most proud of recently being featured in Food Network Magazine for my tablescape design skills. I stumbled into the floral industry after spending many years as a Wedding and Event Planner and I had a client who didn’t hire a florist for her wedding and she asked me to design for her. I enjoyed the floral design more than the planning of events so I worked really hard to perfect my craft and here I am four years later. It hasn’t been easy at all and I’ve learned so much along the way but I wouldn’t change any moment. Everything I went through up until this point has made me the person I am today. I overcame every challenge through the grace of God and his angels surrounding and opening doors for me that I would’ve never imagined. I learned to protect my heart, everyone in your circle is not there to see you thrive so always beware of your surroundings. I also learned to network more than a few likes on facebook but really work with your vendors and help each other’s businesses grow.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the Avalon. I really like the restaurants there and there are a lot of family friends activities as well as grown up activities to enjoy while there. I also like Halcyon shopping center. I really like the Alpharetta area and the people here are nice. I would eat breakfast at Maple Street Biscuit Company and get massages at Wood house Day Spa, have lunch at Rumis and for dessert Jeni’s Ice Cream of course. As a fun activity I would run across to Icebox to chill out for a little bit. Finally have a few drinks and dinner at the Hotel Avalon!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My children are my biggest supporters and driving force for everything I do professionally as I’m working hard to provide a better life for them all.
