We had the good fortune of connecting with Len B. Williams, Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Len B., can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always felt that entrepreneurship will change the world. I’ve been an entrepreneur since high school. I’ve went from selling candy in the hallways of Vicksburg High School in Vicksburg, MS to closing deals with major corporations. Being an entrepreneur has changed my life, and that’s why I offer opportunities within my companies to become an entrepreneur within our organization. I’ve always lived my life by the motto, “Reach one, teach one!”

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the Chief Executive Officer and founder of MATMAC Financial Group, Inc. and CEO, Founder, and Chairman of MATMAC Holdings, Inc. In 2011 with a clear vision to bring supplemental retirement options and various other financial services to the public sector nationwide who had been historically underserved I founded MATMAC Financial Group. Currently, I play an integral part in the development and execution of the revolutionary marketing and training systems that MATMAC Financial Group, Inc. continues to bring to the table for our clients and our team members. There are no better clients in the world to work with than clients in the education field. The opportunity to have a positive impact and touch so many lives is a very important gift that I pray that our clients don’t take lightly. I know we don’t.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wow! I have so many! We would begin the morning at my favorite breakfast destination, The Atlanta Breakfast Club. Lunch would be at the hottest seafood restaurant in town, Blu Seafood House, and we would conclude the day for dinner, drinks, and networking at Rock Steady.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents, The late Mr. Len B. Williams, Sr. and Mrs. Valor Williams; my wife, Keshia Williams; our beautiful children Len B. Williams, III, Kaylen N. Williams, and Reid A. Williams. I would also like to shoutout my awesome team members at MATMAC Financial Group, Inc. and the MATMAC Family of companies. They are truly awesome and inspirational in every way.
