We had the good fortune of connecting with Lavon “Fudd” Minott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lavon “Fudd”, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Having a Team, The GoodPpl, the family that I’ve created, a group of creatives from various states, that I call on for motivation, and to test concepts.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My name is Lavon Minott aka Fudd the Creator, I am a non-traditional artist. Hailing from New York City by way of the universe. I would call my art style Emotional Reflection, capturing trauma, pain, joy, and love of my experiences on my life’s quest. Tackling an array of canvas. Trying to display my creative voice in just about everything I do whether; from Music to design, my brain is constantly developing creative ideas. Nothing comes easy, especially when you decide to be a full-time creative, but those are the best learning experiences and produce some of the best art pieces….I feel.

For instance Fudd, my signature character, that seldom shows his face in most of my work is my interpretation of my alter ego/sub conscience experiences.

I use Fudd to get away with saying and doing things that people could only imagine. So be it Fudd flying through galaxies or quoting 90’s hip hop you understand the man and the character are very much one in the same. Sharing pure emotion allows you, the viewer to connect with Fudd at all stages of his life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m really into animals and nature. So I would plan a Safari outing, lunch sort of thing.

We would take a nice tour around the Safari, and feed the different animals. Afterwards we can have a nice little lunch; away from the animals and just enjoy the scenery.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
To Parker Rose, my greatest inspiration and motivation. You are best thing to ever happen and I’m so excited to see the world with you. The GoodPpl, the most uncoolest, coolest collective, the sky is always the limit and there isn’t a thing they can’t do.
