Meet Laure Magne

We had the good fortune of connecting with Laure Magne and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Laure, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The idea didn’t stem from a traditional entrepreneurial ambition. I didn’t dream of launching a business for the sake of building one. Life pushed me toward it—or rather, an inner fire that kept growing over the years. It was fueled by the silent injustice endured by millions of people living with excess weight, and by the glaring absence of humane, effective, and compassionate solutions to their suffering.
I’ve lived that struggle myself. I’ve known the diets, the shame, the discouragement, the relapses. And through my own journey, I came to understand that the answer wasn’t to punish the body, but to heal the soul. That realization changed my life—and gave me a mission.
Creating Meta-Morph-Ose wasn’t about founding a company; it was about building a refuge, a method, a path of resilience for those who feel unseen, misunderstood, abandoned to their weight and their pain. I wanted to create a space where healing could happen without violence, where guidance came without judgment, and where transformation wasn’t built on restriction or shame.
The thinking process took shape over years of personal experience, encounters, readings, and deep exploration into neuroscience, behavioral psychology, pedagogy, and nutrition. Each step added a piece to the puzzle until the obvious took hold: all of this needed to be brought together into one holistic, human-centered project. That project eventually became a business—almost by necessity. But to me, Meta-Morph-Ose is first and foremost a commitment. A response to the urgent need to restore dignity, health, and freedom.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Meta-Morph-Ose is the name of the company I founded to support a unique approach to personal transformation — especially in the context of weight loss.
The method I’ve developed is based on a concept I created myself: Neurostrategy.
It’s a non-violent weight loss approach that helps people regain control over their bodies and lives through a deep understanding of how they function — neurologically, physiologically, and emotionally.
I won’t go into detail here, as this method is part of my protected intellectual property, but it allows for a lasting, profound, and respectful transformation — far from diets, restrictions, or shame-based tactics.
What sets me apart? I reject all forms of violence — even the kind we inflict on ourselves. I don’t impose extreme restrictions. I don’t encourage guilt. I never define someone’s worth by their size.
I help my clients understand why their body resists, why it stores, why it holds on to pain. From that awareness, I guide them toward a state of peace with themselves — and a sustainable sense of freedom.
I’m proud to have stabilized my own weight after decades of struggle. But what makes me even prouder is having created a space where others can do the same — without needing to hate themselves in the process.
But getting here wasn’t easy. Quite the opposite — my path was filled with setbacks, disappointments, even betrayal.
I had invested 100,000 euros into this project. I wanted to do everything right: surround myself with professionals, build something solid, something worthy of the people I hoped to serve.
But I trusted individuals who didn’t share my values — people who lacked my sense of purpose, my precision, my desire to truly help. Community managers, graphic designers, video editors… many of them delivered subpar work, made careless mistakes, and within a year, my entire investment was gone.
At the time, I was too naïve. I believed everyone worked from the heart. I’ve learned since.
And I chose not to give up.
I rebuilt everything on my own — no budget, but a much clearer vision. I studied. I learned. I trained in therapeutic patient education, and I took back control over every aspect of the business — the tools, the messaging, the delivery. And this time, my body didn’t betray me. I didn’t gain the weight back. I held on.
Today, I’m entering a new phase — both in life and in business. I’m relaunching this work with renewed strength, sharper boundaries, and a maturity that only hardship can teach.
What I want to offer is a high-quality, deeply human, gentle yet demanding experience — so that every person I work with can live their transformation as a victory, a pleasure, a personal rebirth.
What I want the world to know is this: change is possible — even after pain, even after loss, even after failure.
Meta-Morph-Ose is not a miracle promise. It is a long-term commitment, an outstretched hand, and a method for becoming yourself again.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had to introduce a city to my best friend, it would, without hesitation, be Toulouse, in the southwest of France.
They call it the Pink City, thanks to the warm tones of its brick façades — but I’ve always thought of it as the city of a hundred churches.
Toulouse was one of the first cities in France to be divided into districts, and in each neighborhood, people built churches — not just as places of worship, but as symbols of their faith, pride, and cultural identity.
Among them, I’d absolutely take my friend to visit Saint-Sernin Basilica, one of the largest Romanesque churches in Europe. Majestic, serene, steeped in history.
In summer, Toulouse comes alive. It’s vibrant and sunlit, with pedestrian streets that invite you to wander without ever feeling overwhelmed.
We’d begin our journey with a walk along the banks of the Garonne River, then ride the Giant Ferris Wheel that appears every summer.
As an opacarophile — someone who adores sunsets — I’d bring my friend up there to watch the sun melt into the river, suspended between sky and city. It’s a magical, soul-soothing moment.
If I wanted to share something even more special, I’d take them to a hidden lookout I call “the Little Titanic.” Not many people know it, but it offers one of the most breathtaking views over the Garonne’s riverfront. It feels secret, cinematic — a memory in the making.
On rainy days, we’d head to Le Cosmopolitain, affectionately known as Le Cosmo by locals — a warm, lively pub where conversation flows and time stretches in the best way.
When the weather turns sunny again, we’d go to La Voile Blanche, an open-air bar at Lake Sesquières, full of summer energy, music, laughter, and that effortless French joy.
And while we’re there, we’d try out the local cable water skiing — a fun and accessible version of waterskiing where you’re pulled across the lake by a suspended cable instead of a boat. It’s playful, refreshing, and surprisingly addictive.
We’d slow things down with a stroll through the Jardin des Plantes, then head to the iconic Place du Capitole to sit at Le Florida, the historic café at the heart of the city.
For food, we’d explore the legendary Victor Hugo Market, taste regional specialties, and pick the perfect restaurant — maybe a wood-fired steakhouse, a creative contemporary spot, or a cozy neighborhood bistro.
We’d rent bikes to take in the city’s architectural beauty at our own pace, and hop aboard the little tourist train, winding through the old streets and secret corners of Toulouse.
And we wouldn’t leave without a proper boat ride along the Canal du Midi — one of the oldest operational canals in the world, commissioned by Louis XIV, the Sun King, to link the Atlantic to the Mediterranean.
Sailing down it is like slipping into history itself — a gentle, timeless journey through the heart of Occitanie.
Toulouse is a city that asks you to look up. It deserves your attention.
It’s a city for those who love life — fully, passionately, and with open eyes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Pour lui, j’ai appris à me guérir.
