Hi Latavia, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
One of the most important lessons my business has taught me is being consistent. You have to continually push through all opportunities and challenges in order to achieve your goals. These moments build character and allow you to remember why you push so hard in the first place.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I always knew that I wanted to become an entrepreneur. I have always invested in my beauty regime, so I decided to invest in a skill that I would enjoy. I began my lash journey about 3 years ago and never looked back.. I greatly appreciate all obstacles because good and bad, all lessons teach you something so wonderful about the last lesson. Keeping an open mind and having the courage to become a better you, is what makes the journey utterly rewarding
What sets me apart is my drive to become better, my tenacity to keep trying, and passion for making my clients ecstatic about their finished product.

Being an entrepreneur means you will have to continuously find ways to market and improve your business. I believe that our faces are the first things people see and I know that as a woman, our eyes can tell a story, so being that I am mastering my craft, I strive to making all my clients have lustrous eyes. With that, you have to care for them. I have created my own branded lash bath and sleep mask. These products can be purchased in addition to your services. Beauty is also educating, up-keeping and maintaining our desired look. These are certain things that set me apart.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I will take her out to eat/drink at Fin and Feathers , it’s definitely a nice vibe with good food, music and hookahs. The establishment is connected to the mall so we will go there next to shop!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would first like to acknowledge God. God is at the forefront of my life and it shows as he guides me and continues to bless my abundance of success. I wouldn’t be where I’m at and having the ability to upscale my growth without the loyalty of my clients.. maintaining great relationships with my clients allows them to refer me, tag me on all social media accounts and reposting the outcome of my work.
In addition, I wouldn’t be able to leave out my partner, Coleta, for being my support. She literally plays every role in my business that is needed.
I am grateful for the totality of what each role these individuals play in my ever growing success.
