We had the good fortune of connecting with Laketris Rogers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Laketris, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is consistency & providing exceptional customer service. I pride myself on both. What’s a business without either. I’ve worked in the customer service industry all my life, and being able to provide good customer service to my clients is what I strive for. Being consistent with myself from answering emails, making sure I follow up with clients, & staying on top of my content all social media platforms. Many factors play a role in my business success. But overall, One factor that has never lead me astray is my Prayer Life! God is my Source for Success, always have been and always will be. I can’t thank him enough.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I never thought I would be owning my very own business. I had so many mixed feelings about what I should/ what I was good at? Until I just started designing and planning events. My company has flourished in just such a sort amount of time. I’m excited to see where I’ll be in the next few years. I currently work a full time job, I lost my mom in sept of 2020, mentally, physically, emotionally, I am drained daily. But somehow my strength is amazing! I don’t believe in quitting. I pick myself up knowing that I have God on my side for one and for two I know he built me for this rode. Challenges will be apart of our journey whether we own a business or work a 9-5. My mantra is: Its not what happens to you; It’s how you react to what happens to you. So no challenge can take you out unless you allow it too! It’s important to have positive people in your circle and maintain a spiritual lifestyle. That works for me!! I love the way I bounce back from my challenges it ignites my fire and I’m already waiting for the next one like come on with it!! The Elle Experience means the world to me. My mom would be so proud! I know she’s smiling. I have a lot in store for Elle Experience Events, and we’re just beginning.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
