We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyra Crandol and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyra, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I would say that one of the most important factors behind my success/the success of my brand would be me changing my mindset! I would often set goals and write out things that I wanted to accomplish although deep down inside, I did not really believe that I would achieve them. I basically had “why me” syndrome. After shifting my mindset and believing that I could have all of the things I desired to have, I noticed a shift in my business.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Kyra Danaya Collection is an online based women’s clothing line that caters to the mature woman that takes pride in her appearance. TKDC carries attire that can be transitioned from work to play. TKDC focuses more on classic attire that can be styled multiple ways, can be worn in different seasons, and will last for years. I am most proud of starting, growing my brand, and being able to fill missing gaps. Many women get excited about TKDC because they feel that it is hard for them to find chic professional attire. I’ve grown to where I am today by creating a solid foundation for my brand to stand on, remaining consistent, having quality garments, continuously educating myself, having quality/consistent content, and never giving up. It wasn’t easy, but it’s all been worth it! I’ve learned that no matter what, you can not give up! If you give up, you are guaranteed to not be successful. I’ve also learned that you can not do everything on your own, doing this will prevent your business from growing. I would like for the world to know that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! Figure out what you want out of life, create a plan, educate yourself, work hard for it, remain consistent and the world is yours!

I would like to shoutout my mentor, Lilly! Lilly has played a major role in the growth and success of my business as well as my mindset. Lilly has provided me with actionable steps to take the help grow my business and she has also played a role in me believing that I can achieve the goals that I set out to accomplish.
