We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyarra Hosea and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kyarra, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business came about through the idea of generational wealth. Both of my grandfathers own their own business. Growing up and seeing both of them execute their plan into a bigger reason of why inspired the idea that it can be done. By owning my business, I am able to create an asset that can be passed down my generations to come. Everyone knows the importance of Real Estate and how it relates to generational wealth. The knowledge and skillset that I will be able to share with my family helped create the idea and process behind my business.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My Real Estate business has been built on the core values of Customer Service & Quality Experience. I am dedicated to ensuring my valued clients not only understands the home buying/selling journey but also receives top of the line service from everyone involved during the transaction . I have partnered with the best of the best from Mortgage Lenders to Closing Attorneys. I am also a Problem-Solver, which is key in this industry. I am proud of the success my business has gained over the last few years, especially when the world had to face challenges during COVID. I have created and implemented various policies and procedures within my business which allows me to show up for my clients in the best way possible. The Real Estate industry isn’t for the weak but it is an industry that provides satisfaction through doing the needed work behind and in front of the scene.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents, Vidal & Stacye Hosea, and grandparents, Willie & Emma Vincent | Clara Hosea & Henry Smiley. They have been my biggest cheerleaders since I made my entrance on earth. My journey thus far hasn’t been a cakewalk but the support I have received and continue to receive is unmatched. If I ever needed a pep talk, vent, cry or laugh, I could always depend on them. My mom is truly my best friend. I also have to give recognition to Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts. Through her ministry, I have been able to not only work and improve my spiritual relationship but also have a true understanding in the gospel. Although life isn’t easy, I am able to stand stern in my faith and know that greater has my name on it.
