We had the good fortune of connecting with Kwaku Bentil and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kwaku, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Faith. I believe in myself a lot. I think I have a great idea and sit with it for months perfecting it as best as I can before releasing it to the masses. And even then I still continue to perfect.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Aside from designing my own merchandise I am also a part time DJ. I’ve been a DJ for 12years. The DJ grind is not an easy one but been a fun one. I started off my career in the Hip-Hop scene and transitioned in the the Afro-Caribbean scene. I do dabble in both worlds currently so staying on top of music is a must and also attending events and just learning music and how DJ’s navigate through the night and through music is a must in order to succeed in my eyes
