We had the good fortune of connecting with Krystle Marshall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krystle, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’m a creative at heart. It’s been in me since I was very small. Nothing calms me better than creating something. Whether it’s art, food, treats, poetry or a combination of them all! Bringing an idea to life incites joy within. So naturally developing a business that allowed me to have ownership of that creativity, was a given. It’s definitely a plus, making money from something that simultaneously makes you happy 😉

What should our readers know about your business?
Bambi Bites, LLC is a black woman owned business that specializes in Small Bites • Snacks • Gift Boxes • Party Tables and Favors. This business was birthed out of need and unexpected opportunity. 2020 was an…interesting…year. However, it made room for a creative like me to start something fresh! I love to create. Making things with my hands brings me peace. I also like to eat lol! That makes me happy. Merging the two allowed me to constantly encounter the other act that fills me, and that’s bringing others joy.

Every order I complete, has passion and intent behind it. My goal is to make the customer feel something. I’ve had smiles, screams and happy tears from customers. Those are the moments that are fulfilling. Satisfied customers make the behind the scenes stress and struggle worth it all.

I quickly learned that starting a business is easy, but MAINTAINING and GROWING one is not. There are a lot of long days, sleepless night, headaches, back pain, achy feet, empty bank accounts, criticizing outsiders, self doubt and so much more. You get discouraged and sometimes want to give up. In those moments you have to remember your WHY. That is what will sustain you from the beginning and beyond.

Bambi Bites, LLC is a place of positivity, playfulness and passion. Everything I am a part of, I want to bring others happiness and flourish. Whether it’s a delicious tub of our gourmet flavored popcorn while watching a movie with your loved ones, a savory Charcuterie board at your office party, or a chocolate covered strawberry given to you by someone reminding you you’re loved; know that it was handcrafted with love and your enjoyment in mind!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely my mother! She inspires me to be great. I’ve watched her (and my father) build a strong family unit. Turn nothing into something. Created a life for us all worth telling about! I wouldn’t be the strong and resilient woman I am today, without the example of the woman she is.
