We had the good fortune of connecting with Krissy Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krissy, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Sometimes life puts us in situations where either option, pushing forward or walking away, feels like a form of surrender. But for some of us, giving up was never truly on the table.

At 16 years old, I became a mother. That moment could have defined me in limiting ways, but instead, it lit a fire in me. I developed a strong sense of ambition early, knowing I wanted more, not just for myself, but for my daughter. By 17, I had my first apartment in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Tallahassee, Florida. I was working at Popeyes, budgeting pennies, and dreaming big. It wasn’t glamorous. It was grit, determination, and survival.

I knew I wanted more, and that hunger carried me all the way to Atlanta, Georgia. But life wasn’t done testing me. In 2020, I lost my only brother, my best friend, and one of my greatest supporters. For the first time, I felt like giving up. The pain was too heavy, the world too loud in its silence. But grief didn’t get the final say. Instead of letting it break me, I let it fuel me.

Through that storm, I found my purpose and poured it into building something of my own. I launched my own busines, an affiliate marketing company, that has since grown into a 7-figure earning brand. Every setback became a stepping stone. Every “no” redirected me to a greater “yes.”

So how do you know when to keep going or give up?

You listen to your core. You ask: Is this aligned with who I’m becoming? Is this challenge shaping me or breaking me? For me, the answer was always clear. I couldn’t give up, because I wasn’t just building a business. I was building a legacy.

Never give up. What’s meant for you will make its way to you, but only if you’re still standing when it arrives.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting my business wasn’t just about money, it was about freedom, legacy, and proving to myself and my daughter that anything is possible with faith and relentless work. I launched my affiliate marketing company with little more than ambition, resourcefulness, and a deep hunger to change the course of my life. What sets my business apart is that it was built from the ground up with purpose. I didn’t have investors, I had vision. I didn’t have shortcuts, I had strategy. Every system I’ve created and every dollar earned came from a place of determination and authenticity.

It wasn’t easy. I’ve had to learn on the fly, overcome personal loss, face financial hardship, and navigate the business world as a self-taught entrepreneur. In 2020, the same year I started my business, I lost my brother, Eddie, who was not only my sibling but my best friend and one of my biggest supporters. That year broke me in many ways, but it also built the foundation of everything I have now. Instead of letting grief consume me, I used it as fuel to pour into my future.

Today, I’m proud to say I run a 7-figure earning affiliate marketing brand. My company thrives on integrity, focus, and strategic growth. Every milestone is a reminder of how far I’ve come and what’s possible when you don’t give up.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned? Success isn’t about speed, it’s about alignment, consistency, and belief. I want the world to know that no matter where you start, you have the power to create the life you envision. I started with just $800 in savings and a laptop, and the rest was history.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit Atlanta, I’d make sure they had an unforgettable week filled with food, fun, and culture. We’d kick things off with brunch at Toast on Lenox, their shrimp and grits and mimosas are always a hit. After that, we’d head to the High Museum of Art for some inspiration and beauty.

For dinner, Prefecture for something upscale and classy. We’d hang out at Ponce City Market to walk the BeltLine, grab a drink at 9 Mile Station, and soak up some city views.

One of the highlights of the trip would be attending a local wine festival, Atlanta hosts several throughout the year that are full of great energy, tastings from Black-owned wineries, live entertainment, and a beautiful atmosphere to just unwind and enjoy life.

For relaxation, we’d book a spa day at Jeju Sauna, followed by a cozy night in with wine and vision board talk. And for nightlife? Definitely Red Martini, good vibes, music, and energy all night long.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to the people who have shaped my journey and given me the strength to become who I am today.

First, to my late brother, Eddie Williams, your love, your wisdom, and your belief in me still carry me through the toughest days. You weren’t just my brother; you were my best friend and biggest supporter. Your spirit continues to motivate me every single day.

To my beautiful daughter, Lavionna Williams, you are my greatest inspiration. From the moment I became your mother, I knew I had to rise. You give my life purpose, and your presence reminds me why I never gave up.

To my dad Eddie, my stepdad Constant, and my uncle Fitzgerald, thank you for showing me the value of strength, protection, and perseverance. Your guidance and presence have been anchors in my life, especially during times when I felt like giving up.

And to my mother, thank you for your sacrifices, your strength, and your love. You’ve taught me what resilience looks like and how to lead with both fire and grace.

Each of you has played a role in my story, and this journey wouldn’t have been possible without your influence. I carry your love and support in everything I do.
