We had the good fortune of connecting with Korri Danielle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Korri, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
When thinking of risks, you have two options. Success or failure. You will either pass the tests you face in life or fail them. The best part about failure is that most times, it can be attempt it again. I’ve always liked challenges in my life. Growing up, I was always with my cousins and majority of them that were my age, were boys. There was no way I wasn’t going to let them “little girl” me. I was tough, I at least tried to be adventurous, but I never turned down challenges. Over the years I’ve accepted challenges of all types, but I never allow a risk stop me from overcoming reaching my goals.

What should our readers know about your business?
Brand Builders Network is a brand development agency for female entrepreneurs. It is my goal to build women up in such a way that their confidence matches the success they seek to achieve. The hardest part about being in business for yourself is trying to find your way honestly. It’s difficult to find the necessary resources because so many people have their mouthes shut unless you’re willing to pay. Brand Builders Network was founded on the thought of being a hub for women to not only exchange success stories in a safe place, but ask for advice, push one another, and ultimately network. The services we offer begin with strategy and continue with execution and refinement. I want the world to know that business doesn’t have to always be so lonely but support is available.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live close to Chicago, so I would see what’s happening here for the week as things are always changing. First, I would take them to lunch somewhere that is exclusive to the Windy City, like a Jew Town Polish, or fried chicken from Uncle Remus. We would explore the architecture downtown and admire the water alongside Lake Shore Drive. Shopping at the Water Tower or on Michigan Ave. is also a must! For dinner we would go to one of the upscale restaurants like RPM or for a little more upbeat atmosphere we would head to Carnivale. There is always something to do in Chicago!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost I give all honor and glory to God because without Him, I would not have the ability, desire, or drive to do any of this. I thank my husband for his sacrifice. For being patient with me on the nights I don’t come to bed because I’m working all night. I thank my babies for motivating me to succeed for them and create a path for them to explore the possibilities of what they are able to achieve. Lastly, I thank my Mommy. Your push, support, and honesty makes me better!
