Hi Koffi Selom, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Driven by a passion, I founded my business to share my gift for crafting exquisite, artisanal French pastries. Made with love and care, using only the finest ingredients and no artificial flavorings, my creations aim to bring joy and delight to every customer. Through my business, I strive to make a positive impact, foster connections, and build a reputation for exceptional quality and service.

As an Engineer/Intellectual Property Manager by day and Pastry Chef by night, I balance technical precision with artistic flair. I’m proud to have built a successful career while pursuing my passion for pastry arts, learning to approach problems from multiple angles and find innovative solutions. Through hard work and determination, I’ve overcome challenges and embraced my unique strengths. I want the world to know that engineering and pastry arts share commonalities in creativity and attention to detail, and that pursuing multiple passions is possible with dedication and resilience. My brand is built on technical expertise, culinary creativity, and a passion for helping others, inspiring others to embrace their talents and pursue their dreams.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Go-to Taco and Tamale spot is Salsa Taqueria
Go-to Brunch Spots are Le Petit Marché and Del bar
Go-to Chinese Spots are LanZhou Ramen and Big Boss
Go-to spot when we can’t make our mind is Pollo Primo
Favorite fine dining spots so far are Aria, Atlas and The Alden

I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my wonderful wife, who has been my rock throughout this journey, offering unwavering support, love, and encouragement. I’m also deeply thankful to my former colleagues in TX and my church family from VA, who willingly served as my test audience, providing invaluable feedback that helped me hone my skills and refine my craft.
