We had the good fortune of connecting with Koereyelle DuBose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Koereyelle, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is my determination to assist and support my community. Regardless of the specific program or product I may be promoting, my purpose remains the same: to elevate the black community by providing wealth and business building tools and resources.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
WERK University is the First Online Trade School created by a black woman for black women. Our goal is to teach them how to turn their existing skills into multiple streams of income so that they can stop living paycheck to paycheck and start writing their own checks. I founded WERK U in 2019 after hosting women empowerment events for seven years. Although it was “nice” to host sold out conferences, I was not satisfied with just providing empowerment without also providing a real plan. WERK University provides a comprehensive curriculum that teaches women how to develop a money-making mindset, assess their skills and turn those skills into streams of income.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
