Meet Kizzle | Music Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kizzle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi kizzle, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risk-taking changed everything. Had I not taken risks, I wouldn’t have stepped outside of my comfort zone not just creatively, but generally in life.
Every single day, hour, and minute, your life is a cycle of risk-taking.
As a music producer, I open myself daily to questions to set intentions. What are you going to compose? How are you going to compose this song? Who do you think could resonate with this song? How would you want to present this song in order to reach the right people? Then it gets a little more personal. Am I making the most of my ability and time? Is this meant for me? Is this even going to work?
The intentions are laid. The questions are answered. All I wait for I as put in my work, is a yes or a no. The fear of rejection may creep every now and then. Despite that, it’s still worth it. The desire to provide for loved ones through your creative medium is a dream I think all creatives want.
I believe to be exceedingly great requires big risk. Thinking far beyond the stakes, to achieve something you didn’t even know was possible. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. But at least you tried and have the experience. The experience is wisdom itself, and it’s more valuable than not having it at all.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Music Producer, Artist, and Engineer. I mainly produce Electronic, Dance, R&B, and Hip/Hop.
When I was 13, I used to live in Florida. (Shoutout Broward.) It was there I had a childhood friend that put me onto FL Studio, a music-production software, and since then, I was hooked. I moved back to the A’ shortly after, leaving with a seed that permanently changed the course of my life.
I believe what sets apart me apart is the ability to create worldbuilding within productions. Personally speaking, a song isn’t just a song. It’s this own audible landscape you can manipulate for hours on end until you find that “feel”. That “feel” may not always seem right technically, but it moves you, then the music did it’s job. I lean heavy into feel, making sure each work can stand as it’s own world listeners can be infatuated with.
Getting where I am now professionally was NOT easy. Matter of fact, it was the most difficult, strenuous thing I’ve ever committed myself to. It doesn’t have to do anything with the music though. I say it wasn’t easy because getting to where I am took 22 years of learning myself, the world around me, and keeping faith even when it doesn’t make sense.
I overcame challenges with wisdom, patience, grit, and faith. But most importantly, I overcame it with GOD.
If it’s one thing I want the world to know about kizzle, keep an eye out.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I think every tourist should experience I-75 peak traffic at least one time in their life. Jokes aside, there’s never not an event going on in the A to enjoy. Little Five Points, Lenox, Buckhead, Ponce City Market, Downtown, or maybe something more grounded like a nice Candler Rd stroll. I’m more of a nature guy, so places like Stone Mountain Park or Atlanta Beltline is a go-to.
You want that good Asian food? Yokohama. That good Mexican? El Rey Del Taco. Shout out DACOCINITA too.
Hammonds House & the High Museum are valid options if you’re into art.
Honestly, the magic in Atlanta is just in the everyday life. Seeing things in public that make you go, “yeah, I’m in Atlanta.”
(if you know, you know.) Might mess around and see Batman on Flat Shoals.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I thank God.
I’d like to shoutout Ma for always believing in me more than I did myself at times. Shoutout to my family and loved ones who believed and invested in my talents. Shoutout to my mentors Coach Dave & Tay G, who unfortunately are no longer here, but still transformed my heart and mind beyond their time here. Shoutout to all the musicians & collaborators who inspire me to create something fresh. Those include the homies horebby, Bryserk, Big Smoke, and Dawson to name a few.
Last but never least, shoutout to every person that’s given my work a listen. Your time paid is priceless, and I am grateful.
