We had the good fortune of connecting with Kismet Electra and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kismet, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe the key to my success has always been and will always be inclusive love. I feel that most people crave a safe space where they can truly feel listened to and understood. My constant desire is to hold sacred space for any individual looking to connect deeper with themselves and the Universe. I believe the Universe listens and responds to our intentions. When our intentions for success are rooted in collaborative dreaming with others I believe the Universe always responds with opportunity to make our dreams a reality.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My life centers around being a Psychic Creative. As a Psychic Guide my heart is open to connecting with anyone seeking greater vitality in their life, but I find my passion in working with artists. I love guiding individuals to awakening their creative fire or into the realization of how powerful it already is. Creation is an extremely potent energy for evolution and I believe fully that the more we create, the more we heal and naturally we transform. When I’m working with someone I don’t believe in just touching the surface, I believe in diving straight to the depths, to the fears, shadows, traumas and triggers that keep someone from actualizing their creative potential. I believe even more so in giving away the tools & remedies so they recognize it is themselves with the power to set themselves free. I channel my own inner beauty and challenges directly into my art and the act of expression is so healing I want to share the sensation with everyone I can. To get to where I am standing today, it was a literal fight for my soul. I had to dismember the darkness I was born into and instead learn to honor my light. I had to learn to be one with myself and the Universe before I could expect anyone to understand me. Many times it felt like I endured nothing but challenge after challenge, but always the sun rose again and the Divine showed me the meaning in my lessons. Along the way I’ve learned how to heal from challenge and blessedly to show others how to heal. All I want is to continue stoking creative fires wherever I go.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite area in Atlanta is Little Five Points. The area is always bursting with creativity and color that is warming to the soul. The Community owned grocery store there, Sevananda, is my favorite place in the city to find medicinal herbs. My Partner and I enjoy stretching our legs in the area and popping into Junkman’s Daughter where you can find the platform shoes dreams are made of. The Georgia Aquarium is an absolute must see. You can spend the entire day getting lost with the deep sea creatures. What makes me feel the most at home though has to be the Starlight Drive In. It doesn’t even matter what’s showing its just a great time getting cozy & sharing a laugh under the big screen.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
For me the connection to my spirituality is as constant and vital as the breath in my lungs. I owe every great joy and triumph over challenge to forces of Divine Energy. There is not a moment I feel I could have climbed any mountain without the guidance of Universal Love. I am blessed everyday by the love of my life partner, Jordan, who is constant proof that Destiny is always weaving, even when we can’t perceive it. I have deep gratitude for so many authors who have taken the time to bring their wisdom and experience to life, but I owe what I feel will be lifelong inspiration to Clarissa Pinkola Estes, author of The Women Who Run With the Wolves and Hyemeyohsts Storm, author of Seven Arrows. Both of these books opened my heart and perception in such a way I feel they are always shifting and expanding into something greater.
