We had the good fortune of connecting with Kim Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kim, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my business because I knew that so many women are in need of womb healing. We go through so much hurt and pain and many of us do not have a healthy way of healing from womb related trauma. My goal is to show women how to heal themselves naturally.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My passion to heal and providing great customer service is what sets me apart from others. My clients appreciate how knowledgeable I am on womb care and we have some in depth sessions in my office. I am most proud of myself for being invited by the Better Business Bureau to be a member. I am also most proud of myself for opening a new location in Fayetteville, Georgia. It has not been an easy road for me. I struggled with obtaining clients, I’ve struggled with balancing my work schedule and also being mother. I have struggled with gaining the support needed from my peers and family. But I never gave up. I kept taking classes to become more knowledgeable and made it a point to work on my business daily. That is how I have continued to be successful. The lesson I have learned is not to compare my success to the success of my peers.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite place to visit in Atlanta would be Little 5 Points. I love the energy there. I like to go and get a face reading from Jacob and visit all of the metaphysical stores. I love to purchase handmade jewelry from the individual vendors that setup there. Before I leave, I always stop and eat at Bandidos and have a margarita or 3. My second favorite place here is The Cascade Nature Preserve. I go here to ground my energy and just connect with nature.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank Katrina Joy for all of her mentoring and countless job opportunities she has given me. Thank you High Priestess, Tameka Currie, who gives me spiritual readings and for ensuring that my business is flowing in prosperity. Thank you Dennis Kearney II, for creating my beautiful Goddess Steam seats and for all of your support. Thank you Thelma Wilson for being the best Executive Assistant a girl could have. Thank you Q Ross for introducing me to so many business connections that have helped my business grow. A special shoutout to my brother, Richard Taylor, for funding my business startup on your birthday 5 years ago. My Sacred Yoni would not be successful without you all. Asé!
