We had the good fortune of connecting with Kieana Tindle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kieana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
“My thought process behind starting my own business was driven by my passion for creating unique experiences and providing valuable services to my community. I saw a need for high-quality event spaces and engaging entertainment, so I wanted to build something that not only fills that gap but also brings people together in a meaningful way.

With my background in customer service, HR, and community work, I knew I had the skills to create something impactful. I took time to research, plan, and develop a business that aligns with my strengths—whether it’s hosting premier events at Briscoe’s, supporting families through my non-profit work, or developing creative content for kids and adults.

Ultimately, my goal has always been to create spaces—both physical and digital—where people feel seen, heard, and inspired.”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
“My business is all about creating unforgettable experiences—whether through Briscoe’s Premiere Event Space, creative productions, or my nonprofit work supporting families and children in need. What sets us apart is the personal touch, the attention to detail, and the deep sense of community we build through every event and initiative. I don’t just host events; I create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and celebrated—whether it’s through a premiere showcase, a comedy night, a Sunday brunch, or an inspiring community event.

I’m most proud of how Briscoe’s has become a hub for creativity, entertainment, and togetherness. Seeing people walk away from an event feeling inspired and uplifted fuels my passion every single day.

Getting here wasn’t easy. Like any entrepreneur, I faced challenges with visibility, marketing, and building a brand from the ground up. There were moments of doubt, financial struggles, and times when I had to figure things out on my own. But I overcame those obstacles by staying persistent, leaning on my faith, and surrounding myself with people who believed in my vision.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth requires patience and resilience. You can’t be afraid to pivot, learn from mistakes, and keep pushing forward, even when things don’t go as planned.

At the heart of my brand is excellence, elegance, and authenticity. I want the world to know that Briscoe’s is not just an event space—it’s a place where stories are told, dreams are nurtured, and unforgettable moments happen. My journey is proof that with passion, faith, and determination, anything is possible.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
best friend was visiting, I would make sure they had an unforgettable week filled with great food, music, culture, and fun! Here’s how I’d plan it:

Day 5: Ultimate Night Out

Day 6: Road Trip & Adventure
• Morning: Drive to a nearby city or beach for a day trip adventure.
• Afternoon: Try something new—ATV riding, horseback riding, or a boat cruise.
• Evening: Return home for a chill night with good food and reflection on the trip.

Day 7: Farewell & Brunch Send-Off

This week would be the perfect mix of elegance, fun, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences!”

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
“I truly believe that success is never a solo journey, and I owe so much to the people and experiences that have shaped me. First and foremost, I want to give a huge shoutout to my husband, Douglas, who has been my rock, my biggest supporter, and the one who always pushes me to dream bigger. His unwavering belief in me keeps me going even when things get tough.

My best friend, Sharday, has been there through every high and low, offering encouragement, laughter, and honest advice when I need it most. She’s been a constant source of strength and inspiration.

My Auntie Joyce and my mother, Casandra, deserve so much recognition for the love, wisdom, and values they’ve instilled in me. Their resilience and guidance have shaped the person I am today, and I carry their lessons with me in everything I do.

Beyond my loved ones, I also want to recognize the incredible community I serve—whether through my event space, creative projects, or nonprofit work. Seeing the impact of what I do and the joy it brings to others fuels my passion every single day.

Lastly, my faith plays a huge role in everything I do. God has been my foundation, giving me the vision, strength, and perseverance to keep pushing forward.

This journey isn’t just about me—it’s about the amazing people who have uplifted, encouraged, and walked alongside me. I’m beyond grateful for each and every one of them.
