We had the good fortune of connecting with Kianna Chennault and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kianna, how does your business help the community?
At my law firm, we practice business and civil rights law. My law firm helps the community because we assist black and brown entrepreneurs with building and structuring legally sustainable businesses. Through our work, we help entrepreneurs from these communities attain generational wealth for themselves and their families. Our work has exponential impacts because wealth disparities impact every area of life, including health outcomes, educational attainment, job prospects, and interactions with the criminal system.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am excited that my body of work will contribute to closing the wealth gap between Whites and Black and Brown communities. My dream will benefit others because wealth disparities impact every area of life, including health outcomes, educational attainment, job prospects, and interactions with the criminal system.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love for people to come visit me in Atlanta. We spend a lot of time at my house, I love our home and I love to be a fun and welcoming place for our families and friends. We would definitely cook some meals and have some movie nights. I also love to be outdoors, so we would go hiking, probably at Kennesaw Mountain and also hit the beach at Robin Lake. My kids are always hanging with me, so we would go to some of their favorites, like the Atlanta zoo, Aquarium, and the Fernbank Museum. Pre-COVID I loved going out to eat, however, I have pretty much given that up in the last two years. One of my favorite places to eat though is Orient Express in Vinings.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
