We had the good fortune of connecting with Keynna Vereen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Keynna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was initially wanting individuals to look good in a non surgical way. For those who do not want to undergo surgery and be out for months but still want to look good this is the service to book.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I got to where I am today professionally because I remain humble. Starting BodyByKeyyy was not easy. I overcame my challenges by staying focus and positive. I might not have a client for two weeks but gain one client for the following week , it could get discouraging but remain positive is the best route to go. I have learned that there will be ups and downs and the downs do not last forever. I want the world to know that I am striving for greatness and I deliver positive energy and any service is always a humbling experience .
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area I would definitely take her to Atlanta Breakfast Club their food is AMAZING ! We would eat and drink their hang out maybe attend a concert or game if there is one coming up.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There is a person I want to dedicate my shoutout too which would have to be my 2 year old daughter Kamina because of her I’m striving to continue my business. I also want to shoutout my sister who is one of my ambassadors who has always been supportive and make sure my hair is always good @laaalaastylezz on Instagram. As well as Aija and Bria my other two ambassadors and makeup and stylist. @aijathemac and @glitterglambri.
