We had the good fortune of connecting with Kenny The Hippie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kenny, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When starting my business, my goal was to be able to provide for myself. I aimed to become financially independent, capable of living life by my own means. I also embarked on this journey of entrepreneurship to be able to provide a better life for the people I love.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am the art and that is what makes me unique. I always find new and innovative ways to create. I’m super excited about dropping my Ep this year. Im looking to drop it in October and it’s going to be a project that means a lot to me. I know a lot of my fans look forward to new music so genuinely I’m eager to bring them that experience of listening to my voice, I know how much music can mean for some people. Getting to where I am today definitely wasn’t easy. I had to go through a numerous amount of trials and tribulations, lessons, and heartbreak to evolve into this rare version of myself. Ive learned to nurture and love myself throughout my life, tending to my every need. You have to be there for yourself when no one else has your back. You have to be your own best friend. The thing about me is I want everybody to be happy. I want everybody to live their best lives. Everyone deserves to be unapologetically themselves.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To be honest, I’m a homebody. I don’t go out much unless I’m performing or popping out at an event. Its hard getting a quality meal without cooking it at home considering the fact that I’m a vegan. When I do go out however I like to visit crystal shops. My favorite is crystal blue. The energy there is always great. Other than that I enjoy vibing out listening to music, and car rides. Slutty Vegan is a really good spot to go to and I would highly recommend.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wanna give a huge shoutout to Invader Supreme. Thats my guy. He’s a creator like myself, videographer, and has great connections. He’s really helped me get to know people in Atlanta and even went along to help me in my music career as well. He’s definitely a good guy to connect with. Without him Id be in a different place than I am now as far as my connections and people I’ve met, and the startup of my career in music.
