We had the good fortune of connecting with Kenisha Frederick and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kenisha, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?

I find a lot of joy/happiness in helping others.

Finding ways to take the stress away from others. Whether that by taking away the things that weigh them down so they can feel lighter and focus on things that bring them joy, or providing them with the tools they need to create a peaceful environment for themselves.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

My work is centered around helping others which is a such a passion of mine. I do this in two ways:

Through my creative marketing services, I help those in the health and wellness industries successfully streamline their marketing in order to grow their business and retain their current clientele.

Through my metaphysical services, I facilitate breathwork and meditation, instruct yoga, offer reiki energy healing sessions and more. This allows creatives to break through any self-limiting beliefs and/or blockages which may be holding them back from being their true authentic self within their lives and careers.

I have learned so many lessons along the way, but the one that sticks with me most is- “the main thing holding us back is ourselves.” This does not invalidate the struggles that we may go through at the hands of others or systems, but it helps us understand that a shift in mindset can make a huge difference in how we perceive things and move through life. And only YOU can fix your mindset.

I want the world to know that everything I teach and embody is from a place of love, authenticity and most importantly EXPERIENCE. As I teach, I also learn. As I help others heal I too am also actively healing. This is why I can understand those who work with me on such a deep level.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

For nature lovers, Atlanta has some amazing trails. Including Roswell Mill, Island Ford, and Yellow River to name a few.

For partiers or social people, I would recommend Rock Steady or Rum Punch Brunch on weekends. And weekdays, Controllerise at Monday Night Brewing or Moon Jam at O4W.

For foodies, food halls are always a great option like Food Works or Krog Street Market.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

Although this may be unconventional, I want to shoutout my inner child. This part of me would not give up. Through any adversity, and moments where I want to quit or regress, she was there to remind me why I am on this path and why I do what I do.

Without her, I would not have been able to align with the amazing souls who have made this journey what is. From my friends, mentors/coaches, soul family, therapist and so on. You name it, She brought me to them.
