We had the good fortune of connecting with Kendall Ivy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kendall, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks means everything, as there will always be challenges that will always be thrown our way, but it depends on how much faith you have in yourself to be able overcome them. I feel like people don’t realize how powerful they are. You can do anything you want to, but it starts with a burning desire, that no one could ever take away from you.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I want to make movies, so I’m going to “make-movies”. Whether being part of a production crew or independently directing, funding and producing my own projects. It’s been extremely frustrating to hear people saying that “since the strike, no-one is hiring”—that’s just not true, but if they won’t take a chance on me, then I will have to continue producing my own films independently, maybe even start my own network to show people that you really can have anything in this world (if you truly want it).

Do what makes you happy…

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them driving around! Sight-seeing around different parts of the city. That could be a really “interesting” moment, then you would have to stop for food, maybe even see a movie—naturally… yk?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without the support from my family, I most definitely would be in a different position than I am today. To say that it would be for the better or worse—I don’t know.. (It’s giving worse haha). However, my drive and determination for a better life—wouldn’t change at all.
